To say he waited for a whole year, to coax Björk, to do the movie was worth it.

As for me, the film’s heartbreaking conclusion left me emotionally drained and quite. It left me with a sense of existential unease. “Dancer in the Dark” is a testament to the transformative power of cinema, inviting us to reflect on the complexities of life and the enduring strength of the human spirit.
